G8: £34,834 - £39,186 per annum (pay award pending)
Are you committed to working with communities to promote social responsibility and cohesion?
We are looking for dedicated Community Building and Cohesion Officers to proactively manage and develop relationships with statutory, voluntary, community, social economy and faith sectors. You will develop projects that improve relationships between diverse communities, delivering real and practical outcomes that build trust and break down myths and misunderstanding in communities. You will have an awareness of diffusing of community tensions and an understanding of cultural competence.
Along with excellent communication skills and knowledge of effective techniques and activities which promote and achieve social integration, you will have experience of project management including writing funding applications, financial monitoring and report writing to ensure that projects are successful.
