Job Title: Learning Support Practitioner (Level 2)
Required as soon as possible
Temporary 12 month initial contract in the first instance, Part time (30 hours per week 8.40am - 3.10pm)
Term Time only (39 weeks - inc. 5 INSET days)
Grade 3 SCP 3-4 19627 to £19952 FTE (under 5 years service)
Actual Annual Salary £15914 - £16178 pay award pending

The Governors are looking to appoint a temporary Level 2 Learning Support Practitioner who is enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated to the children in our school. This role will be primarily based in EYFS, therefore experience in this area is essential.
As a Learning Support Practitioner your main responsibilities will include: in-class support, group work, interventions, 1:1 support, first aid and general welfare responsibilities with direct leadership from the SENDco. The roles require a good knowledge of current practices, including phonics, a positive approach, a willingness to learn and a desire to be part of an effective team.
