Job Title: Redditch Area Team Social Worker
Salary: £17,705 to £23,300 per annum, plus £1,784 market forces*
22 hours per week
Location: Parkside, Bromsgrove
Permanent, Part-time
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated supportive team. We are looking for people with a positive strength-based approach to working with people.
The social work candidates should have experience of working with complex cases and possess a high competent level of skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation alongside extensive knowledge of the Mental Health Act, The Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act. Placing on the SCP will be dependent on experience.
All candidates will have opportunities to learn and developed their skills and knowledge through training and CPD opportunities provided by our Social Work Academy. All should be enthusiastic and evidence they can work autonomously and creatively.
Successful Candidate will be expected to cover duty when required. Some Hybrid working will be considered but needs to be discussed in advance.
In Worcestershire we have adopted the 3 Conversation model of practice which involves a strength-based approach to working with people. You will manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision and have the ability to approve and purchase support packages to support people to make positive changes in their life. You will need to have the confidence to advocate for our clients and work in partnership with health colleagues, other statutory partners, and voluntary sector providers. You are given opportunities and supported to be creative, innovative and search for strength-based solutions.
