Clerk to Governors
Permanent
125 hours to be worked per annum
CG3 Points 5 – 6 (£13.30 - £13.55 per hour)
Christopher Whitehead Language College & Sixth Form is looking for looking for a Clerk to the Governors. In this varied role, the successful candidate will provide advice, guidance and support to the governing body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters to enable the governing body to function smoothly, efficiently and effectively.
Experience is desirable, but not essential. Full training can be given, so the post is open to those without experience but with the right attitude and abilities.
Our present meeting timetable has meetings on 4 to 5 evenings per term. Day time meetings (mainly exclusion panels) are arranged as required (around 4 per annum). The rest of the work can be done on a flexible basis including from home.
