Job Details
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our regeneration and enterprise team for the right, entrepreneurial candidate. We have a growing regeneration portfolio and this is a chance to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced service.
The post holder will be ESBCs main link with local businesses across the borough, particularly SMEs. We have a popular business grants scheme, which the successful candidate will be responsible for managing. We also have business services delivered under UKSPF, which the post holder will help to promote. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for planning and delivering a number of business engagement events throughout the year across East Staffordshire.
The right candidate will be a successful self-starter, confident in networking and engaging with a wide range of individuals, from local businesses to ESBC councillors. The successful candidate will also be proficient at keeping records of applications, an overview of the budget, and organising paperwork, required as part of the grant application process.
