Closing Date: 13/10/2024 Interview date: TBC Herefordshire Council are looking for 2.5 FTE enthusiastic and customer focussed individuals to join its friendly Waste Management Team. We have just started a new waste collection contract which will see an expansion to our commercial customer service, sees a new way of working with our contractor through improvements in ICT and will deliver future service changes across the county so this is an exciting time to join Herefordshire Council and its Waste Management team.
Your role will be to provide the technical support needed in our busy team to continue delivery of high quality waste management services and advice to residents and businesses across the county.
You will need to have a high level of written and oral communication skills and be competent in the use of Information Technology systems with excellent attention to detail. We are looking for someone who has exceptional organisational skills and who be dependable to work with confidential and sensitive information.
The post is based at Plough Lane in Hereford and it is anticipated that the post will need to work from here as necessary to support the team but working from home is also current practice.
