We are looking for Care Assistants at our Short Breaks Service.
We support adults who have profound and multiple learning disabilities, some of whom have behaviours that challenge.
•You will positively engage with people, showing your respect for them as an individual, working in a person-centred way.
• Your skills, knowledge and experience will enable you to recognise, promote and develop a person’s strengths and abilities whilst equipping you to support with any physical, emotional and social requirements they may have.
• You will ensure that a person's right to privacy, dignity and choice are at the foundation of all you do.
• You will support and assist people with their health, wellbeing and personal care, paying particular attention to the individual's plans.
• Care, welfare, safety and security is everyone’s responsibility, ensuring that you follow relevant policies and procedure will enable us all to work safely.
