Knightlow C of E Primary School (Stretton-on-Dunsmore) are looking for a SEND Teaching AssistantWe are looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant for 28.75 hours (Mon-Fri) And a Midday Supervisor for 2.5 hours per week TA Level 2 – Band F Scale 7-10 (£12.59/hr starting salary) MDS – Band B Scale 2-3 (£11.59/hr starting salary)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to work in KS1 with one of our children with additional communication and learning needs. This position is to start as soon as possible. We are looking for someone who is nurturing, kind, positive, energetic and patient and has a desire to help children to succeed. Although previous experience is not essential, holding Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification or having an awareness of Makaton sign language would be advantageous.
The hours of work will be 31.25 hours per week – 8:45am - 12:00pm and 12:30– 3:30pm Monday to Friday term time, plus 5 teacher training days. You will be based in the classroom with the rest of the friendly and dedicated Year 1 class team and will be supporting our child’s learning and development under the guidance of the class teacher and our SENco. At lunchtime you will join our team of lunchtime supervisors to assist in the supervision of the children on the playground.
