We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified professional who is both passionate, knowledgeable and willing to lead the development of Business Studies and support the future development of other subjects including Law and Hair & Beauty.  The successful candidate will need to be an excellent teacher of Business Studies who is also prepared to support the continuing development of subjects including Law and Hair & Beauty.  This post will include a subject leadership responsibility (TLR 1a), in subjects with strong uptake in examination courses with potential for further growth in the future.  The school has been rated as ‘Excellent’ in our recent SIAMs inspection and ‘Good’ by Ofsted in each of its last three inspections, most recently in January 2023:  “Blue Coat Church of England Academy is an inclusive school where kindness flourishes.
