Teaching Assistant Post - Grade 4
Actual salary with term time fraction applied (approx.) £16,663 - £18,118 (pay award pending
Fixed term contract until 31.08.25
Starting date: As soon as all employment clearances are complete
We require a teaching assistant to work 30 hours per week on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with a special educational need or with small groups during interventions. You may also be asked to perform general classroom duties such as display work, filing and maintaining the flow of the classroom activities.
Essential:
- Have completed a Level 2 teaching assistant qualification (as a minimum)
- A GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths
Desirable:
- Knowledge of child development
