Job Details
We are looking for two enthusiastic people to join our Recovery Teams with the responsibility for the collection of Sundry Debt which are either due to customers reaching the end of their current debt recovery cycle or defaulting on current arrangements.
As members of the Sundry Debt team, you will ensure customer enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally. You will be in contact with the public on the telephone and liaise with various internal departments. You will also be involved in negotiating terms of payment on debts as well as analysing and utilising the most proficient form of recovery available to the council.
You will ideally need to have 2yrs experience working within a busy office environment. You must be computer literate, flexible and willing to work in a team. Good interpersonal skills are as important as previous experience in this area.
You must hold a minimum of 4 Grade C GCSE’s or equivalents, to include English and Maths.

Successful applicants will be subject to flexible working hours and must be able to work a minimum of 37 Hours per week.
