Stoke-on-Trent City Council Adults 18+ Commissioning and Contracts team are looking for a Commissioning Support Officer.

 

To support the development of commissioning strategies, policies and plans to meet national, corporate and directorate objectives and best practice.

 

 Key Duties / Responsibilities:

 

Commissioning to support the development of commissioning strategies, policies and plans on specific service areas with partners, key stakeholders and internal staff, to ensure best commissioning practice is applied.

 

To undertake market mapping to identify demand, supply and provider information to support commissioning activity and associated decision making.

 

To assist in the completion of commissioning plans, working with stakeholders, partners and colleagues as appropriate.

 

To collate management information for commissioning activity for stakeholders and partners.

 

To undertake data analysis, producing and distributing performance /other reports as required.

 

To promote and coordinate stakeholder, partner and colleagues engagement and involvement to inform commissioning decisions and to develop innovative and positive ways to effectively engage with service user groups, some of whom may be disadvantaged with complex needs and chaotic lifestyles.

 

To identify, support and implement service improvements that ensure services reflect best practice and achieve high quality outcomes.
