The Bewdley School is seeking an exceptional teacher of Sociology and RE to join our highly skilled social sciences team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively alongside experienced Sociology and RE specialists. We currently offer Sociology at GCSE and A level and RE at KS4 – we would like to develop this further by potentially offering philosophy and ethics post 16 in the future. Our dedicated team and school leaders will offer outstanding support and guidance. This opportunity would be suitable for a new entrant to the profession or an experienced teacher.
The Bewdley School, serving the Georgian town of Bewdley and on the banks of the River Severn, is a fully inclusive and comprehensive school. Students are hungry to learn, reflected through their engagement with a broad and diverse range of opportunities. Whilst outcomes are obviously important, it is the richness and quality of learning experiences that are at the heart of the school’s ethos and culture.
If you would like to work with skilled colleagues in a supportive environment, where you are free to communicate your passion for your subject, please visit us.
We seek a colleague who has:
- Exceptional energy and enthusiasm
