You will be:
- providing additional support for the class teacher
- keeping children engaged, being kind, caring and patient
- helping a child to engage in education and learning
- making school a fun, caring and nurturing environment for the child that you support
- working with a range of professionals to support the child’s needs to ensure outcomes are met.
The successful applicants must have:
- you must possess excellent communication skills and have a real willingness to support both the learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs of children.
- experience of working in a school environment
- proven skills in delivering intervention programmes
- is a reflective and flexible practitioner
- excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents
- a willingness to partake in on-going training and development as needed

Applicants should be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and have a good standard of education (GCSE Grades A-C or equivalent in Maths and English is essential).

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
