Grade 3 - £25,119 - £31,364 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

Working 36.5 hours per week

We are looking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated professional to the role of Sales assistant at Alexander Stadium.

The Sales Assistant role is a new position and will be key to the future success of the stadium, as you will be responsible for selling a range of new products and services that include conferencing, meeting and event spaces, event ticketing, commercial memberships and other income generating activities created by the commercial team.  In addition, you will assist in delivering a sales strategy for the stadium.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager the Sales Assistant will be the interface to any external agencies selling the conference, meeting and events spaces and will work alongside the operational team to ensure new event enquires can be delivered to the highest standard.  The commercial team will be expected to create new programmes and activities that drive revenue to the stadium and will work alongside the new Marketing Assistant to promote these activities and convert enquiries into sales. 

The post holder has a unique opportunity to develop the post further while in the role and support the delivery of a new sales culture for the venue going forwards.
