Hour - 30 per week
Sandwell Children's Trust are currently recruiting for a part-time Service Support Officer to join the busy Fostering Service Administration Team, we are looking to appoint an experienced minute taker/administrator to provide comprehensive admin support to practitioners and managers.
The successful applicant will need to be proficient in minute taking, flexible, enjoy a challenge, work to tight deadlines and work as part of a team. If this is you, we look forward to receiving your application.
Admin tasks will include:
- Working with the Fostering IRO by providing administrative support to their role
- Booking and planning foster carer reviews
- Liaison and updating systems alongside fostering panel admin
- Liaison with foster carers in relation to their reviews
- Support and Minute taking for the Fostering IRO
- Ensuring accuracy and consistency of information
- Completion of Foster Carer Minutes data
- Checking and updating Children's Social Care systems
- Attending regular meetings with the Fostering IRO and fostering service manager to update on fostering review performance.
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Minute taking experience
- Be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a business admin role
- Will hold NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages
- Experience of finance and procurement would be an advantage
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail
- Have the ability to plan & organise diaries.
