About the role:

The Governors of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to support on a one-to-one basis one of our pupils with additional needs. The child is both in class and outside class throughout the morning, needing support to communicate and access learning activities. This Year 1 child needs an individualised timetable, supported by someone kind and confident.

The post is for 25 hours a week over Monday to Friday 8.30am until 1.30pm. This post is permanent and begins on 4 November 2024.

Key Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who:

- demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard
- have a good sense of humour (and a love of chocolate biscuits)
- preferably have experience of working one-to-one with children experiencing some difficulties accessing learning due to additional needs
