SEND Local Offer Implementation Coordinator
37 hours per week
12 months fixed term contract
NJC Scale 4 £24,294 - £25,979 per annum
The Local Offer aims to bring together useful information across education, health and social care within one website. It includes information, advice and guidance and a range of local service providers who support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The SEND Team have an exciting opportunity for someone to join us in the Role of Local Offer Implementation Coordinator. This is a fixed term post that could be offered as a secondment.
We are looking for someone with the skills and knowledge to continue to develop our SEND Local Offer Web pages and support the SEND Project Lead in a variety of areas including:
- Developing guidance and Telford and Wrekin’s Local Offer to help provide information, advice and support relevant to the Code of Practice.
- Providing effective communication to schools, settings, external partners, young people and parent/carers.
- Analysing and preparing data to the SEND team and partner agencies.
- Liaising with representatives internally and externally to advise on Plain English, house style and writing for the web. To ensure a high standard of web design and common branding.
