Stafford Borough Council and Cannock Chase Council operate a shared in-house legal service. The legal service is based at Stafford, but some travel to our Cannock office will be required as and when needed.  The post also has the benefit of flexible and hybrid working. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Property Lawyer and are seeking a suitably experienced lawyer (solicitor, barrister or legal executive) with experience in conveyancing/commercial property law, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and dedicated team of lawyers involved in a wide variety of legal work and focussed on providing excellent support to both of our councils. As one of our Senior Lawyers, you will have the opportunity to become involved across the legal function, including the supervision of other team members, but with a particular focus on the provision of legal advice and support in property work.

For further information and to apply, please visit our website at: https://www.staffordbc.gov.uk/jobs-and-careers

Closing date for completed applications: 20th October 2024
