Level 2 Teaching Assistant 

Due to one of our committed members of staff moving on, the Governors are looking to appoint an outstanding Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate about making a difference and helping to improve the learning opportunities for our children.  

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team which is ambitious for the success of all, where children have positive attitudes and a love of learning and where staff are valued and well supported by parents and governors. 

You will be working within one of our Inclusion Hubs

Salary: Grade 3 

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks) 

Closing date:   Sunday 13 October 2024

Fixed Term:  until 31 August 2025

Start Date:  As soon as possible

You will need to demonstrate: 

Your ability to work as part of a very enthusiastic team. 

Experience of working with children with SEND

Commitment, flexibility and energy. 

Excellent behaviour management skills. 

A knowledge of the EYFS/ Key Stage 1 & 2 National Curriculum and assessment. 

Willing to undertake suitable training for your own professional development. 

Happy to support the ethos of the school. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

Providing support to pupils to achieve learning goals e.g. leading phonic sessions. 

Providing support to pupils with SEND

Assisting the teacher with the planning of learning activities. 

Assisting in maintaining classroom discipline through the implementation of the school’s behaviour management strategies. 

Assisting with the day-to-day routines of a classroom including the preparation of resources. 

Assisting the teacher in monitoring pupils' responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed.
