Grange School is looking to appoint two highly effective teaching assistants from November 2024 to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team in our commitment to promoting the education, development and well-being of all children.
An approved level 3 Early Years qualification is required for one of the roles, but we have the flexibility for this to be the part time or full time role, dependent on the right candidate.
The role may require you to work alongside individual children and groups, and take the lead in managing small groups of pupils for specific intervention. The full time position may also include supporting pupils at lunchtime. We are looking for candidates with strong behaviour management, good interpersonal skills and a caring personality.
Grange School is an inclusive nursery and infant school, where every child and member of staff matters. We are an increasingly diverse community, which we celebrate and welcome.
We have high expectations of everybody in our school. The children and their futures are at the centre of all that we do and we encourage all of our children to ‘Reach for the Stars’ to be the best that they can be. All staff work hard to encourage pupils to develop as individuals, so that they can fulfil their own personal potential, learn how to be effective learners and kind and helpful members of the school and local community.
We can offer a welcoming team, a warm and nurturing work environment and development opportunities to support your own professional growth.
In addition to fulfilling the Person Specification, the successful candidate will:
- have experience of working in Early Years and/or Key Stage 1;
- Be passionate about inclusion and support our belief that every child has the right to the best possible learning experience;
- be committed to working in partnership with teaching and support staff to plan, deliver and evaluate effective interventions to support the learning experience of our pupils
- have high aspirations for every child in our school, and strive to ensure that every child receives the very best opportunities to excel and enjoy;
- be committed to fostering positive relationships between pupils, staff and parents
A school visit is encouraged and can be organised for 3.30pm on Monday 14th October 2024
To book a visit, please email office@grangeschool.academy or telephone 01283 564325.
To apply, please complete the application form and send to headteacher@grangeschool.academy
