SITE OPERATIVE

RESPONSIBLE TO: Site Manager/Business Manager/Headteacher

SALARY: Scale 2, Scale points 3-4. Annual FTE salary £24,192-£24,569, actual salary £16,853-£17,115   

POSITION: Permanent (following a 6-month probationary period), Monday – Friday, term time only. 

HOURS OF WORK: 30 hours per week: 8am – 2.00pm, with flexibility to work occasional shift pattern up to 5pm

Rigby Hall Special School is situated within the Aston Fields area of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. Our aim is to provide a high quality education for those children and young people aged from Reception to Post 16, with a range of learning difficulties and/or autism.

Due to the continued growth of our school, we are looking to appoint a Site Operative who is hard working, proactive, motivated, a team player and takes pride in their work!

Ideally you should have some Health and Safety training but the most important thing is a positive, can-do attitude and flexibility.  Experience of working in a school would be an advantage but not essential.  You should also be willing to undertake further training where necessary.
