Salary: £22,056 Annually (actual)
Hours: 37 hours per week

The Board of Governors of St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School, part of Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company (“the MAC”), are now seeking to appoint to the role of Sports Coach / Teacher Assistant, to join our proud and successful school on a Fixed Term contract, full-time.

St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School, part of Our Lady and All Saints MAC, is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to join our team of staff. We are looking for an approachable person with good interpersonal skills, an engaging professional committed to work, alongside a friendly and hardworking team to support the children in their care.
The successful candidate will:
- Support the values and ethos of St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School.
- Provide a safe environment that is accessible to all young people.
- Have experience of working in a school environment.
- Deliver multi-sport/skill clubs in for after-school clubs.
- Take appropriate action to identify, evaluate and minimise any risks to health, safety and security in the school working environment.
- Comply with school’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure that coaching sessions are child centered, structured, progressive, fun and of high quality.
- Plan, develop and deliver a range of sporting opportunities in a multi-skill and multi-sport environment.
- Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
- Be able to work under own initiative.
- Work effectively with our staff team at St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School.
