We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates strong teamwork, adaptability, and a willingness to learn in a hybrid working environment. Integrity and a commitment to confidentiality are essential attributes for this role.
This role is flexible in that it could be an experienced payroll professional, committed to continual professional development and looking for a progressive supportive employer to work part time hours or someone who is interested in payroll as a career and is dedicated to embarking on their professional development in Payroll as a traineeship (remuneration dependant on skills and experience).
The capability to analyse data for precise reporting is essential. Additionally, strong organisational skills and self-motivation are vital for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will consistently demonstrate high standards of accuracy and approach their work with a professional attitude. In addition, they will showcase exceptional integrity and the ability to conduct quality checks and provide constructive feedback as needed.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of completing tasks within deadlines in order to provide effective liaison with stakeholders. Therefore proficiency in computer skills, including good keyboard abilities, is required.
Familiarity with Chris21 is advantageous, though training will be provided. Experience with pensions, HMRC, and tax-related matters will be highly beneficial.
Average of 25 hours per week, ideally Monday to Friday, although this can be flexitime and hours can be focused more around monthly payroll processing times and less at other times to be agreed. Some flexibility is required as hours may fluctuate around payroll deadlines.
We welcome applications from all sections of the community and we would like to help you shine during this process.
