Would you like to enable Customers in social care, to be able to have full choice and control over their support?
About the Team and the Role;
The Independent Team support all Customers with Direct Payments, to enable them to be in control of their personal budget.
We are currently looking for an individual to join our team as a payment’s coordinator, they work to ensure Customers receive their payments correctly and in a timely manner.
The Independent Living Team act as leaders for Direct Payments, promoting choice and control based on legislation. The team support the development of specialised knowledge and professional skills to empower customers to make informed choices.
The team act as the central point of contact and provide an effective interface with social care teams including children’s services, adult services, Direct Payment customers and external Direct Payment support services. Advising on and providing cross cutting complex information, guidance and support within this specialised area of Direct Payments
Key Requirements:

Knowledge of finance systems
