Codsall High is a comprehensive school for students in Years 9 to 13 situated in a semi-rural area of Staffordshire near Wolverhampton. It has over a thousand students on roll and almost three hundred in its successful sixth form.

Codsall High is a good school where pupils behave and achieve well (see OFSTED report).

The Maths Department is fully staffed with dedicated teachers. Staff work together, support each other and go the extra mile to support their students. It is a great department to work in.

We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Maths Teacher to join our school in January 2025.

The ability to teach GCSE Mathematics is essential.

The opportunity to teach GCSE Statistics, A Level Mathematics, A Level Further Maths or Level 3 Mathematical Studies could also be available to a suitably qualified teacher.

The post would suit a recently qualitied teacher with real potential or an experienced teacher who is already an outstanding practitioner or has the ability to become one.

A recruitment allowance is available for an exceptional candidate.

To arrange an informal discussion about the post or to visit the school please contact Miss Williams, the Headteacher’s PA, on dwl@sslp.uk.

Completed application forms with a letter of application should be sent to Mrs Straw at jobs@sslp.uk

The closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 14th October at 9am.
