The Role

CARETAKER
Salary: Grade 5 - SCP Point 7 to 11 (£24,294 - £25,979)

37 Hours per week/5 days per week/Monday to Friday

All Year Round 

26 – 31 days annual leave per year


Location: The Dormston School, Mill Bank, Dudley, West Midlands, DY3 1SN 
 
Required as soon as possible, we are looking for a Caretaker to join our busy and vibrant team of buildings staff.  We are therefore seeking an applicant who can contribute towards this already strong, positive and supportive team.  

The role of Caretaker is responsible for a wide range of duties related to the fabric and security of the school.  You will work under the direct supervision of the Site Manager.   

The main hours for this role will fit within a 6am – 6.30pm timeframe with the predominant shift pattern being 10.30am - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday during term times. Shift patterns during school holidays will change depending on the needs of the service and other shift patterns required where absences need covering. Occasional evenings and call outs for lettings and buildings issues may be required for which overtime will be paid.
