27.5 hours per week Monday to Friday - Term Time Only
Job overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our committed and friendly team.
We welcome applications from individuals who care about people and can form strong relationships. They will be relentless in their support, encouragement and drive to ensure that our polite, well-behaved and enthusiastic pupils achieve their potential.
This role will initially entail delivering a range of high quality phonics interventions across the school in order to support our mission of ensuring “every child a reader”. A comprehensive package of Continuing Professional Development is in place to ensure that we get the right candidate for the post. The role is for 27.5 hours over five days, working 5.5 hours per day.
You must be able to:
- Support an engaging and inclusive learning environment for our pupils and their families
- Work effectively with colleagues and multi-agency teams
- Be highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled in supporting teaching and learning
- Be committed to creating opportunities to enable young people to thrive
- Communicate effectively and possess the ability to work on your own initiative as well as under the direction of colleagues
