Salary: £23,500 - £23,893 per annum
37 Hours per Week
Location: County Hall, Worcester

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Team Support Officer to work within the Reablement Contact Centre to provide Customer Contact support along with clerical and administration duties.
The Reablement Service supports Worcestershire residents to live healthy and independent lives in their community. Our approach is to offer short-term intensive support to enable individuals to learn how to live their lives as independently as they can and support them to regain independence during the period of support. We focus on what people can do and build on these skills. We will make sure people receive the right support at the right time to help them live independently at home for as long as possible. As Team Support Officer you will be first point of contact into the service answering telephone calls from our clients, their families, hospitals, social work teams, care agencies and NHS partners amongst others.
You will have excellent telephone and communication skills along with a good knowledge of all Microsoft packages especially Excel. The service has a consistently high volume of incoming calls and you need to be able to maintain professionalism and accuracy at all times whilst juggling priorities and deadlines. The ability to remain calm and organised regardless of the demands of the job is essential for the successful applicant.
The Reablement Contact Centre is open from 07:00 until 22:00 365 days of the year. You will be working a 7.5 hour day (excluding lunch break) on a 6 week rota that includes weekends, evenings & public holidays. The role is office based.
