About the School
Manor Abbey School will be a provision for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils with an EHCP for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and resulting challenging behaviours.
The new school was opened in Abbey Hulton, Stoke on Trent in September 2024. There will be an initial intake of up to 30 pupils across year 7 and 8. The school will then progressively fill over 4 years until it reaches its capacity of 70 places.
About the Role
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for 2 imaginative and inspiring Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic team, who can make learning fun and practical while positively supporting behavioural challenges; the position will entail supporting pupils across all subject areas. The successful candidate will demonstrate they can meet the needs of secondary aged children who have experienced difficulty in accessing mainstream education.
