The Role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of people with sensory impairments?
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Rehabilitation Worker (Visual Impairment) to become a vital part of our dynamic and supportive team in Worcester.
As a member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with specialists to assess and deliver essential services to individuals with sensory impairments. We are looking for someone who holds a Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment) or an equivalent qualification. While experience with additional disabilities is a plus, your enthusiasm, dedication, and excellent communication skills are what truly matter.
We offer two positions: one full-time (37 hours) and one part-time (25 hours). This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. The County Council has a commitment to safeguarding service users in our care.
