This is an exciting opportunity for a full time Business Support Officer to join City Operations Business Improvement and Support supporting our Waste Management statutory service. A main feature of this role is supporting frontline staff at our Atlas - Tysley, working side by side with your colleagues to support the delivery of waste collection. 

You will use your skills in this busy role to ensure the service is supported with processing invoices, raising purchase orders, completing general administration and data entry, utilising the full suite of Microsoft 365 tools to maximise impact for the service, and supporting your colleagues to ensure we effectively respond to complaints and member enquiries. You will play a proactive role in further embedding a consistent, excellent, reliable, customer focussed service. This is a dynamic position relying on the ability to interact with the service and 

As a Business Support Officer, you will work as part of a dynamic team delivering an effective and high-quality service supporting the Street Scene division and wider City Operations directorate.  You will manage and coordinate complaints and enquiries received from a range of stakeholders, adhering accurately to statutory requirements and relevant legislation, regulatory codes, guidance and professional practice.

You will be responsible for the early resolution and case management of citizen enquiries within agreed SLA’s. Maintaining accurate case management and other administrative records according to the required standards and procedures and by using appropriate IT systems.
