Level 2 Teaching Assistant providing SEND Support

35 Hours Per Week (Term Time Only)
Working: 8.15am/8.30am to 3.45pm/4pm (hours can be negotiated)

St Luke’s is a Church of England (Aided) Primary School which is proud to be a central part of the diverse community of Blakenhall; we create opportunities for children to ‘Aspire, Believe and Achieve’.
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated practitioner (minimum Level 2) to work within our school to provide targeted 1:1 support for children with SEND.
The role will include:
- working with staff and SENCO to establish appropriate learning support
- planning and implementing agreed teaching activities
- monitoring and evaluating pupils’ responses to learning activities through observational assessments and completing records of achievement/progress against pre-determined learning objectives
- providing objective and accurate regular feedback on pupils’ achievement, progress, problems, etc.
Please note that as this position is subject to SEND additional funding, the post will be a fixed term position and reviewed on a regular basis.
Applicants must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
