Trainee Teaching Assistant

Grade 2 - £22,737 (£ 19,107 pro rata per annum to hours and weeks worked)

35.83 hours per week (5 days per week), Term time only plus 5 teacher training days

Hours of work 8.20 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.

Do you love the idea of working with children and young people? Are you passionate about improving pupils’ life chances? We have a new role for an enthusiastic, motivated trainee to join Hill Farm’s friendly and hardworking support team.

This is a unique opportunity, under the direction and control of the Early Years classroom teacher/designated supervisor, you will supervise pupils and support colleagues based in Early Years. You will have the chance to gain valuable work experience within Early Years and develop a wide range of skills.

Castle Phoenix Trust is a successful multi-academy trust and currently has 6 schools within the Trust including 3 primary schools in Coventry. Undertaking a traineeship through our Trust, will provide you with the chance to build relationships and experiences that stretch beyond your immediate school..

This opportunity provides scope to gain practical experience and professional development, which may enable you to progress to a Teaching Assistant role.

We provide comprehensive induction training so that you can shadow our other staff, get a really good understanding of our systems and policies and have the opportunity to ask questions and get to know our pupils during your induction programme.
