Year 6 Teacher and Phase Leader
Queen Victoria is a child-centred school with a strong ethos of enabling children to lead through their own learning. We constantly strive to make learning irresistible and employ a Creative Curriculum as one of the key tools to achieve this.
Our pupils form a highly integrated part of the management of their school. Together with our staff, they have an entitlement to exercise their choices and introduce challenges through collaborative, peer-group learning and discovery. As such, we are interested in like-minded teachers who understand and foster a culture of 'learning without barriers'.
We are a large school which has some great facilities, including a Nurture Room, a Sensory Room, a fantastic library and Radio Station, plus a ‘white room, to enrich learning across the school.
Children are our business and we are constantly ‘reaching and believing’ to make a difference to all of those who come into contact with us.
We are looking for a hardworking, passionate, creative leader who has the ability to take all of the opportunities our school offers and to support others to do the same. We are expecting a short journey back to “good” using our superb teamwork, talent and expertise that we have presently. We are an outward, forward looking school who engage with external partners with excitement and verve.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Please contact Mrs Wendy Rawlinson on 01384 814356 or email firstname.lastname@example.org should you have any questions to or arrange a visit.
We adhere to robust safeguarding procedures and the post will be dependent upon an enhanced DBS disclosure and at least two suitable written references.
