A really exciting opportunity has arisen within Warwickshire County Council’s Targeted Youth Support. WCC was recently graded good by Ofsted and Targeted Youth Support were shortlisted for Exceptional Team of the Year – who would not want to part of this winning combination?!

Targeted Youth Support are a small team of JNC qualified youth workers sitting within Children’s Services. Each youth worker is involved in delivering 121 youth work, group work and detached youth work. We run from 6 youth work bases around the county. These bases include 3 vibrant and busy youth clubs.

Targeted Youth Support are a valued part of a restorative Children’s Service and have been invested and supported to grow over the last two years. We are an evidence-based service that can prove the positive impact we make with young people. Young people are at the heart of all we do.

We have an amazing position as an Assistant Youth Worker at Lillington Youth Centre. The post will involve working 2 evenings youth clubs a week (Monday/Tuesday) for a total of 5.5 hrs. Ideally you will have experience of working with young people and we can offer training for anyone with potential.
