SEND Teaching Assistant
Job Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Length: Fixed term to support child with EHCP - potentially ending 2029 however it will be subject to review
Salary: TA Level 2 SCP 5-6, FTE £23500 to £23893 pro rata (actual £16737 to £17017)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week TTO plus TEDs – preferably 8.15am to 12.45pm Mon however there is some flexibility in the exact timings

To support our vision, we are seeking a teaching assistant to work with some of our pupils. Experience of working with pupils with dyslexia and autism would be desirable but training will be given as necessary.
Are you:
- hardworking, calm, reliable and resilient;
- able to establish productive supportive relationships with staff, pupils and families
- qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or have equivalent experience
- able to work with the recommendations of external agencies and under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo.
- enthusiastic, hard-working, patient, caring and proactive
- work collaboratively with the class teacher to plan for the needs of the child
- committed to high standards of behaviour and achievement
- able to use your initiative and adapt learning outcomes as required
- able to work alongside outside agencies to implement specialist strategies to support the child
- passionate about working with children who have SEND
