Caretaker
25 hours a week Monday – Friday (including some evenings and occasional weekends with some flexibility negotiable)
Five hours a day, 7.00 am -12.00 pm
52 weeks a year
Salary Scale NJC 5-6 (Band E)
Salary £16,750 - £17,016

St Nicholas C of E Primary School, is seeking to employ a Caretaker who will take pride in our fabulous school and would like to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team.
Within this role, the successful candidate will be expected to open the school, carry out a programme of maintenance of the school, respond to ad hoc maintenance needs, maintain the swimming pool, conduct testing of fire, security and water systems, and work both independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Relevant experience as a caretaker or applicants with a maintenance background would be an advantage. We are seeking someone with an eye for detail, a background in maintenance, health and safety or facilities management would be an advantage but not essential. Training is offered within the job and you will receive support from the MAT Facilities Manager.
