Our Work Services Unit provides a range of key services such as waste and refuse collection, street sanitation and recycling services. We're a highly visible front line service that provides an invaluable benefit to all the residents of our Borough.
About the role
As our Environment & Waste Services Contract Officer you’ll be responsible for the supervision of operational staff and to provide clear, consistent and quality support to enable efficient delivery of the Council’s high-profile customer focussed frontline cleansing service contracts.
You will have supervisory responsibility for the manual operatives employed on the Council’s environmental cleansing contracts, deploying resources to ensure that the Works Services Unit operates efficiently and effectively to high standards of customer care.
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll need experience in a similar waste management environment, experience of monitoring service standards and the ability to demonstrate knowledge of Contract Management.
