Shottery St Andrew’s CofE Primary School is a smaller than average primary school, with 91 pupils on roll, situated on the edge of the historic and cultural town of Stratford-upon-Avon and benefiting from many strong community links.

Our school is at an exciting point in its journey as we are in the process of planning a re-location to our new site which will be built as a two-form entry school with a nursery and SEN unit attached.

We can offer you

  • A positive, friendly, committed and hardworking staff team
  • Enthusiastic children who behave well and are keen to learn
  • An inclusive environment where every person matters and mental health and wellbeing is prioritised
  • Good training and professional development opportunities
  • A supportive Governing Body

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant Level 2 on a 1:1 basis.

This post is for approximately 24 hours and may include an additional role of Midday Supervisor 2.5 hours per week. This is on a fixed term basis until July 2025 with a possibility of extending the contract.

The role involves providing support and working one to one with a Year 2 child with specific needs. The individual taking on this role will need to be highly motivated, calm, patient and able to adapt quickly to different situations.

We are looking for people who:

  • Are team players
  • Have a good understanding of how children learn

Key Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children or in a school setting

We warmly welcome visits to the school; please contact the school office on 01789 551508 or admin3057@welearn365.com to arrange a suitable time and if you require any further information.

Interviews will take place Tuesday Wednesday 11th December 2024.
