Pastoral Head of Year - The Telford Park School

JOB PURPOSE

To provide Pastoral Support for a year group so that students make good progress.

The successful candidate must have:-

• Level  4  qualification or equivalent or experience
• Excellent numeracy/literacy skills – equivalent to NVQ Level 3 in English and Maths
• Several years’ experience working in a relevant discipline in a learning environment
• Experience of working with children of relevant age
• Experience of working with students with additional needs particularly social, emotional and behavioural difficulties
• Experience of working with teenagers and adults in difficult circumstances

Salary: Grade 5 Scale 12-16 - £27,803 - £31,364 pa – Pro Rata
