£20,138- £23,398 per annum, (pro rata)

30 hours per week (Monday to Sunday)

NEW Lifeline: supporting independent living, providing peace of mind to service users and their families 24 hours a day.

NEW Lifeline is a telecare service available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year to any vulnerable person living in the Redditch and Bromsgrove districts. We provide a high quality responsive service which enables those who wish to remain living independently in their homes to do so for longer.

A vacancy has arisen within the New Lifeline installation team. The position will be based at Redditch Town Hall but you will be required to travel within Redditch and Bromsgrove districts and other outlying areas.

Your role will be to assess service user’s risks and needs; prescribe, install, program, test and maintain alarm units and associated telecare equipment within the homes of potential and existing service users. You will interview the service user at home to obtain appropriate details and record written information accurately.

As an ideal candidate you need to demonstrate:

• Articulate writing and administrative skills

• Proficient computer skills

• Experience in the use of low level electrical/manual equipment and tools

• Excellent customer service particularly experience of working with elderly and vulnerable people

• Access to a vehicle for work purposes to travel to the service user’s home
