Cleaner  - St Marys, Norton

This is a permanent position based at St Mary’s Catholic Academy

for 17.5 hours (£12.26 per hour), term time plus one week during half terms to be mutually agreed.

Level 1 £9,787 - £10,010 Actual Salary

St Mary’s is part of the Newman Catholic Collegiate. The Governors are seeking to appoint a hardworking and committed Cleaner to join our enthusiastic team.

We are seeking to appoint a cleaner who will:

• be committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness within the school building
• be flexible
• have good communication skills
• be willing to undertake training
• maintain professionalism at all times
• be responsible for cleaning designated areas, individually and as part of a team
• ensure that the school is kept in a clean and hygienic condition

Perform tasks including;

• Mopping
• Sweeping
• Vacuuming
• Buffing
• Polishing and Dusting
• mptying of litter bins

The successful applicant will be required to work 2.30pm – 6pm Monday to Friday with some deep cleaning work undertaken during specified school holidays, days to be mutually agreed.
