CLEANER

10 hours per week,

Term-time plus 2 weeks holiday cleaning (41 weeks)

3.30pm – 5.30pm

G2 (Points 2 – 4), Less than 5 Years’ Service,

£5,781.17 - £5,963.97 per annum

£12.26 - £12.65 per hour

We are looking for cleaner to join our committed, caring and enthusiastic team at King Charles Primary School.  We wish to appoint an individual who will work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative, to maintain a good standard of cleanliness and hygiene around the school. 

You will need;

·        To be physically fit

·        To be reliable, punctual and have excellent attendance

·        To possess a flexible and adaptable approach to working patterns and job tasks

·        To observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties

·        A team player, personable, emotionally intelligent with a sense of humour

Experience:

• Previous experience of working in a school or education setting would be desirable but not essential
• Experience of operating cleaning machinery and an understanding of COSHH will be an advantage, although full training will be given.

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.  We welcome applications regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.
