St John’s CE Primary Academy Stafford – Site Technician
Salary is paid on NJC Grade 3, £24,404 pro rata,
hourly rate £12.65 (actual salary £16,489)
St John’s CE Primary Academy wishes to appoint a permanent Site Technician to join our school team. We are looking for someone who is motivated to take pride in looking after our school building and grounds, and is dedicated to providing the best environment for our children and staff.
The role will involve being a key holder, including emergency call-outs, opening and closing the premises, general maintenance, liaising with staff and contractors and ensuring a safe site and compliance with health and safety regulations.
The shift patterns are as follows, and we are happy to consider a job share arrangement to split between the morning and afternoon role depending on suitability of candidates:
Morning Shift 10 hours per week:
7am to 9am Monday to Friday.
Afternoon Shift 15 hours per week:
3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday (plus potentially some later locking up for an evening letting).
Post holders will be expected to work all year round and an annual leave entitlement will be given.
Salary is paid on NJC Grade 3, £24,404 pro rata, hourly rate £12.65 (actual salary £16,489)
The position will be to start as soon as possible in January, on completion of all pre-employment checks.
