Location: Westwood College; however, you may on occasions be required to cover duties at other schools across the Trust

Thank you for your interest in the post of Teacher of English at the Talentum Learning Trust. The Trust comprises of 9 schools within and around the town of Leek in the Staffordshire Moorlands, which includes Westwood College and Leek High School. Although based at Westwood College, you will develop links with and work alongside the team at Leek High School. Through this role and by supporting all areas of the school, you will enable us to deliver the best education possible to our students. We expect our staff to be highly motivated, determined and caring.
We’re looking for an inspiring and dedicated teacher who is passionate about unlocking the potential in every student. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and innovative practitioner with the ability to deliver engaging lessons that challenge and motivate learners of all abilities. You will have a strong commitment to fostering a love of literature and language, excellent subject knowledge and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. With a proactive approach to professional development, you will be eager to collaborate with colleagues to drive improvement and share best practices. Resilience, adaptability and excellent communication skills are essential along with a genuine desire to make a lasting difference in the lives of our young people.
