About the role:
We are looking to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to assist and support teaching and
learning, provide for general care, safety and welfare of pupils and work with individuals or groups of pupils (year group to be discussed in interviews). The start date will be January 6th, 2025 – or as close to this as possible if notice, to current employers, needs to be given. Working hours as TA2 are Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. - 3.30 p.m., but mornings only may be considered. The postholder may also be required to fulfil the role of a daily Midday Supervisor, 12.20 p.m. – 1.20 p.m. 

Key Requirements: 
•    Hold a recognised and relevant NVQ qualification and have undertaken other appropriate
training or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, experience and skills.
•    Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at grades A – C.
•    Have good communication and listening skills and be able to present information verbally and in writing to others.
•    Be able to take direction but prepared to work independently and show initiative when required
•    Have experience of TA work.
•    Be well organised and work as part of a team.
•    Fulfil the requirements of an enhanced DBS disclosure.
