The Role:

As an HLTA within the Learning Support team, you will:

Provide tailored support to students with a range of learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Offer specific support to our Sixth Form students on occasion, helping them to develop independent learning skills and achieve their academic goals.

Contribute to the planning and preparation of lessons and resources to support students’ learning.

Assist in the monitoring and tracking of student progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.

What We’re Looking For:

An interest in working with students in an educational setting, ideally with experience in supporting students with SEND.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.

The ability to work flexibly and adapt to the varying needs of students, both in class and in individual support sessions.

A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting the academic and emotional development of young people.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
