Located close to the centre of Kenilworth, St Nicholas C of E Primary School is looking for an excellent class teacher to join our friendly staff team. The role is to work with children in Year 5 as part of a job share team, working Wednesday to Friday. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic educator, someone who resonates with our school's vision ‘Aim high, be courageous, show love and kindness’ and will consistently champion the Christian values that underpin life in school.
This post is suitable for main scale 3 – 6 teachers.
The successful applicant will:
- Be a qualified teacher
- Have experience of working in Key Stage 2.
- Be enthusiastic, hardworking, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are attained
- Have high expectations of the children’s learning and behaviour and be committed to raising standards and promoting pupils’ wellbeing
- Be skilled at tailoring and adapting learning to meet the needs of individual pupils
- Use their initiative and work effectively as part of a team
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for their children
- Will champion an area or subject within the curriculum
- Possess a positive, energetic and enthusiastic outlook.
- Demonstrate patience, understanding and empathy with pupils and parents s committed to CPD for themselves and others
