The Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust is on an aspirational journey to achieve educational
excellence for all. The Trust seeks to build a better future for all within our academies who in turn will
positively impact their communities. People within the Trust work as part of the broader Trust family,
benefitting from peer support and wide opportunities for personal development.

St Bartholomew’s Academy is a one-form entry primary academy in Binley, Coventry with a nursery.
Pupils are happy and safe and enjoy coming to school as well as being keen to engage in their learning. We have just embarked on a new journey with a newly appointed leadership team where everything we do is underpinned by our Christian Vision: ‘Believe, belong, Become’.

We are eager to appoint an enthusiastic SENDCo who is committed to wanting the best outcomes for
all of our pupils but in particular those with special educational needs. The role of SENDCo will involve
meeting parents, families and professionals and working with children. The successful candidate will
understand the importance of assessments and fully meet the needs of children with EHCPs. They will
be involved in developing our SEND provision and working with teachers and teaching assistants to
implement it.

We are keen for prospective candidates to visit the academy to see the passion and ethos of the staff
and children for themselves. For an appointment to visit the school please telephone 024 7631 3227
or email school.office@stbarts.covmat.org.

In line with our commitment to Safeguarding, all posts are subject to a safer recruitment process which
includes enhanced with barred list Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) and other vetting checks.
